Modeling with Arianna - Adorabows

So, in between reading, puzzles, enjoying Montessori at home activities, Arianna has a little fun modeling for various boutiques around the US. It's fun because she gets to dress up in pretty clothes and play. It's my job to just observe and snap pics of her and the product. This has turned into a little business, too. I will share one of mommy's first few clients soon. But here's a sneak peak of a recent design from a boutique - Adorabows

Yes, these eyes get me in a lot of trouble. It doesn't work as much with daddy yet. He says that he is the enforcer and I'm the tolerator. smh:) We love this little girl so much.

Days of the Week

I cannot remember when we started watching the youtube videos from KidsTV123, but I highly suggest that parents show these to their children along with reading. We started with the Eric Carle Alphabet Animal Flash Cards and she began recognizing the letters around 14months. Below you can see that I decided to record her with my iphone. She started out recognizing the alphabet by their phonetic sound, but I'll take that:) Within a few weeks, she knew the entire alphabet and their phonetic sound.

One night (like most) Arianna was fighting her sleep. She motioned for my iPhone. I decided to go to the baby app for numbers. She counted from 1-10!!! So, what's all this mean. I didn't really work directly with her on the alphabet and numbers. I just had the information around her 24/7.

This brings me to KidsTV123. They have videos recognizing the alphabet, numbers to 100, the planets in the solar system, all shapes, direction, and more. My hubby, however, thinks the creator must have been high when he wrote all these kooky songs. They stick in your head and you will find yourself singing "Where's the Monkey" while getting dressed in the morning. LOL!

Recently, I asked Arianna if she knew the days of the week. This is what transpired at 21months old.

Ok, I so need to post more since we're doing way more pics and such. See you soon!
